Carolinas Bass Challenge NC Division Qualifier #5 - High Rock Lake
Darren Gay & Allen Snyder topped the field with 19.72 lbs of bass earning them $10,000. Chance & Allen then added another $2,500 as our Top Finishing Skeeter/Yamaha Team bringing their Total Pay Day to $12,500!
Steve Dyer & Derek Lilley caught the Big Fish of the day w/ a 7.35lb Largemouth worth $1,000!
Another big turnout for the 5th and final qualifying event. Chris Marshall and Josh Gardner not only won with an impressive 26.20 Lbs, but they won by an amazing 7 3/4 Lbs! Weights were still solid for this time of year and once again payouts as good as it gets. Congrats and look fwd to the championship in three months!
Lake Gaston was the location for stop number four of the 2015 Collins Inc. – Youth Educational Series tournament trail. This unique series, dedicated solely to youth anglers ages 18 and under, is seeing new and returning faces alike.
Competitors and their boat captains launched at 6:00 AM from the Summit Wildlife access and returned at 1:00 PM for the afternoon weigh-in.
162 teams showed up for 7th event of the year on the Anglers Choice Marine TT up on Kerr Lake. Roger Hoover held on to win with 16.93 Lbs and went home with a 1st place check of $3000. Conditions were tough as water temps are now way up and the grind is not easy. Congrats to big Rog and all of the anglers who battled it out Sat afternoon! Open the attachment below for full results:
Florence, Ala. – June 7, 2015 – There was much to be decided when the fifth and final Northern Division event of the Alabama Bass Trail’s 2015 season took off into the early morning light onto the waters of Pickwick Lake from McFarland Park in Florence, Ala. At stake were not only the day’s winnings, but also the Northern Division Anglers of the Year race, 50 spots into the 2015 ABT Championship and eight slots into the Bassmaster Team Championship.
