Another huge turnout despite the never ending rain and great tournament for the CBC on Santee with Wesley Cashwell and Shane Doughtie winning the 3rd event of the year in the SC Division. Their 25.77 Lb bag was deserving of the $14,200 grand prize after beating out some of the best anglers in the region. Below is a great picture of the Champs and full results below. Finally got a beautiful Saturday for the Boats Unlimited NC Team Tournament Bass Trail qualifier #4 at Falls Lake. 89 teams enjoyed the beautiful weather, a fair day of catching bass and the best BBQ meal ever, compliments of Andy Barnhart, owner of The Prop Doc in Zebulon!
200 Boats turned out for the 2nd NC Div event of the year and the Tourament did not disappoint. Despite high water levels and very dingy water, the weights were outstanding accross the board with multipe sacks over 20 lbs and the winning bag being 23.81 Lbs! Sink and Foster not only won the $12,000 1st place prize but also won the Skeeter Bonus $$ of $5000 for their whopping $17,000 total. Here are some pictures and the top ten:
Douglas Lake was host to the second Toms Marine Team Trail event of 2014 on April 5th and the fish were on! There were four bags of 20 pounds+ led by the team of Lowell Caudill and Teddy Lloyd with a whopping 23.6-pound limit.
Congrats to Chris Richey and George Bost on their impressive win on Kerr Lake Sat. Their 20.89 five fish limit along with a very stout 6.60 Lb BF clinched the tournament for these top anglers. To land a BF of that size on Kerr is not easy, and cracking 20lbs on this lake the past few years has been equally challenging. Congrats again to them and open the attachment for full results!
