CBC Championship Day 1 Leaders Berry and Hoilman cautiously Optimistic for Day 2

Teaser image:

153 Teams turned out today for Day 1 of the CBC Championship on Lake Norman. Only $82,000 worth of cash and prizes (Skeeter Boat Pkg), so when Brent Berry and Lee Hoilman completed Day 1 with 15.40 Lbs and a 1 Lb lead they were more than pleased. Going against the type of field that they are, there was no overconfidence about Day 2.............really more nerves knowing that Sat would probably be more difficult to find fish with much less wind forecast. Mark Menendez MC'd the weigh-in and had everyone done by 4:45.
