2012 Carolina's Bass Challenge Lake Norman Tourney Top 10

Well folks, the 1st NC Div Event for the Carolina's Bass Challenge is in the books and we wanted to get you the top 10. They did pay out 23 places on 141 entry's, and the top 10 payouts are off the charts as you can see below. One thing to also keep in mind is that we heard over and over again how many anglers threw the Alabama Rig at some point during the day today. For Larry and Grandson Shane, it obviously worked! Here is your top 10:

Right now, home is about 2,000 miles away for Brandon Palaniuk and Josh Polfer, Bassmaster Classic qualifiers from Idaho. That’s precisely why they are within a short drive of the Classic fishery well before the crucial practice time begins Feb. 17 on the Red River.

Lake Norman Winter Trail Fish Off Results

 

 

Scott Hamrick and Roger Hoover won the Lake Norman Winter Trail Fish Off this weekend with a total weight of 18.35 pounds.  Kevin Toler and Rodney Lambert came in second with 16.55 pounds.  The event was the final tournament of the Original DJ Winter Trail.

The 2012 Carolinas Bass Challenge South Carolina Division got off to a great start this past Saturday launching out of Cypress Gardens near Moncks Corner with a 79 teams entering. A total purse of $16,800.00 was up for grabs and you could feel the excitement as the teams were waiting to head out on the Cooper River. CBC pays back 100% of your entry fee PLUS $1,000.00 BF cash award so there was plenty to be excited about!

What a first Tournament for the CBC SC Division...........80 boats showed up for what looks to be one of if not the largest team trail in SC. Here are your top 10, and you'll notice 1st place took home an extra $1000 for BF to round out their incredible day:
