Solid turnout this past Sat for the BFL on Lake Wylie...........AC Pro Staffer Rob Digh placed 3rd and took home$1450 after placing 7th at the Rayovac on Guntersville the week before. Congrats to Todd Walters on his big win. Notice that we had 4 anglers weigh-in the exact same amount at 16 Lbs..thats pretty unusual!
Great turnout for the Oakly Big Bass Event on Clarks Hill this past weekend as 502 anglers showed up for this big event! Less Wesberry hauled in an 8.10 LB big bass that netted him a $30,000 boat-motor-trailer pkg. Congrats to Wes and all the other participating anglers who also brought in some impressive fish. Looks like the Hill is back!
Fantastic first time Tournament on Kentucky Lake raising money for cancer and all those effected across our great nation. 50 Terams turned out in frigid temps to launch in mid 20's temps to go and fish on what turned out to be a blue bird sky day. Now normally, blue bird sky's sometimes mean not many great sacks.............until this past Sat. The winning team of Ray and Stephen Barge hauled in 24+, which was just enough to win the $3500 first place prize. Bassmaster Elite Series Pro Mark Menendez MC'd the weigh-in and did a tremendosu job.
26 teams competed in the 3rd annual Piedmont Bass Classics Hyco Lake Open. We had pretty good weather conditions with about 42 degrees in the morning and about 63 at weighin with winds 5 to 10 mph. Water temps ranged from 50 to 60 depending on the areas fished and most of the water was really stained from previous rains during the week. James Noteboom & Zackry Wood or Selma & Clayton, took 1st place honors with 5 bass weighing 14.48 lbs.
