Basscat Adds Osborne And Upshaw To Their 2016 Pro Team

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (January 28, 2016) – Bass Cat announced the addition of Fishing League Worldwide (FLW) professional anglers Andrew Upshaw and Jordan Osborne to their event team roster. In their quest for berths in the 2016 Forrest Wood Cup, Upshaw will run a 2016 Puma FTD, while Osborne runs a 2016 Cougar FTD.

Bass Cat’s Tour Team Manager, Kevin Short stated, “We are excited to support these up and coming anglers as they make their way in the professional ranks. Andrew and Jordan are great team players and strong supporters of both our product and our way of doing business.”

Upshaw, a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma first appeared on the scene competing in collegiate bass tournaments. He has since worked his way up the collegiate ranks and then through the Rayovac Series to qualify for the FLW Tour in 2012.

Hailing from Longview, Texas, Osborne also worked his way up the FLW tournament ladder by fishing the Rayovac Series. As a co-angler on the FLW Tour last year, Osborne finished seventh in 2015 standings, securing his spot in the front of the boat for the 2016 FLW Tour.

“This is an exciting time of growth for Bass Cat,” said company President Rick Pierce. “We are actively looking to find ways to leverage our brand’s strength and adding these two outstanding young anglers is just the beginning,” added Pierce.

Bass Cat, owned by Correct Craft, manufactures the industry’s premier bass fishing boats from its headquarters in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Family operated since it’s founding in 1971, Bass Cat is the longest continuously operating tournament bass boat company in the USA.
