Inside the 11th Annual Lee King Tournament with Big Bite Baits President Scott Montgomery

Jerkbaits are fine fish-catchers but a handful of Classic contenders have heard enough about them this week. In this segment G Man, Ike, Ish and others show us some lures that will work in the 43rd Bassmaster Classic. And they are NOT jerkbaits!

Ever seen or been at a weigh-in with snowfall? Well, neither had we until today out at Lake Norman for the 2nd event of this years Carolina's Bass Challenge. This is not long but gives you a real good idea just how unique this really was!!

The day before competition began at Lake Okeechobee, a few FLW Tour pros visited Westside Elementary School in Clewiston, Fla. They read books and introduced kids to the sport of tournament fishing, along with the boats and equipment used by modern anglers. it's hard to say who had more fun, the kids or the grownups. 

JP Prouty took to Lake Okeechobee a day after missing the FLW Tour top 20 cut (by 1 pound, 7 ounces) to do a postmortem exam of his first-ever tour-level event. What he found, and what he didn't, will help him sleep better and have confidence in his decision-making abilities.

24-yr-old Tour rookie Drew Benton of Panama City, Fla. caught a big Okeechobee bass with 7 minutes of fishing time left in his final day. The 7-pounder provided the weight he needed to win his first-ever tour-level tournament!

Carolina's Bass Challenge Director Brett Collins breaks down the great day at Murray and how this really did not surprise him for a Feb Sat on this fishery.
