Lake Eufaula to Host 2016 Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship

The top 500 Ram American Fishing Tour anglers in national points standings for the 2016 season will be invited to  attend the 2016 Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship at Lake Eufaula in Eufaula, AL on October 16-21, 2016. Event launch and weigh-in will take place at Lakepoint Resort State Park. The 2016 Championship is hosted by the Eufaula-Barbour Chamber Restricted Tourism Committee.

Eufaula Mayor, Jack Tibbs, was on hand at the 2015 Ram AFT National Championship awards banquet at Lake Hartwell to make the announcement of the 2016 event location. “It is my pleasure to let the AFT anglers know that the 2016 Ram AFT National Championship will be at Lake Eufaula. We’ve hosted several ABA events over the past few years and we are looking forward to another great ABA event for 2016. This is a great event for Eufaula, as this event will include anglers from across the country that will get to experience the excellent fishing on Lake Eufaula and all that the Eufaula, AL area has to offer the anglers and their families during their visit,” said Tibbs.
