Bassin on Area Lakes

As many of you know, bassin' has been very good due to mild Winter we had. Check out pics from recent trips from Murray, Santee, and Wateree on my facebook page: @chris heinning. Most have come on soft plastics like senkos, creature baits, and trick worms. Also, some on jigs/trailers, shad-style crankbaits, and jerkbaits. Working depths 8 feet or less in transition areas from deep water to shallow water spawning pockets. Have a blessed, safe, and great Spring fishing season! Capt Chris www.captchrisfishing.com

Nice to meet you Captain Chris. I've got a friend who owns a house out on Lake Wateree, and that is one nice lake to do some bass fishing in South Carolina. I would love to visit Santee Cooper. I caught a 20 pound cat fish there about 5 years ago. Too hot for me right now!
