T-H Marine to Sponsor MLF Select Series

T-H Marine has signed-on as a sponsor of Major League Fishing’s Select Series for 2015. Having just re-upped with American Bass Anglers as well, the manufacturer of boating products has launched an aggressive marketing campaign for the coming year. Details follow:

 

T-H Marine, one of the largest and most versatile marine parts suppliers in the world, has become a Major League Fishing GEICO Selects sponsor, the league announced today.

 

T-H Marine, a Huntsville, Alabama-based manufacturer, produces thousands of supplies and accessories for boats of every category.

 

“T-H Marine is one of the great companies in the boating and fishing industries. Their products are tremendous, and their reach is global. T-H Marine is a great fit for Major League Fishing, and we believe we will be an equally great fit for them. We couldn’t be more pleased to enter into this partnership,” said Major League Fishing General Manager Jim Wilburn.

 

T-H Marine President and CEO Jeff Huntley called Major League Fishing the “hottest thing on television.”

 

“In our industry, this is the show that people are watching, and we are absolutely pumped to be part of Major League Fishing,” Huntley said. “We’re really excited about the high level of visibility that Major League Fishing offers, and that includes how our products are presented on the shows.”

 

Major League Fishing is a partnership between Outdoor Channel, America’s Leader in Outdoor TV, and 48 of the world’s best anglers. On its Cup and Select series events, the league features made-for-television competition events that utilize a format that allows anglers to weigh all the “scorable bass” they catch. Bass are immediately weighed after they are caught, then they are released back into the water. Anglers know where they rank in the standings at all times via real-time leader boards. The competitors are not allowed to practice before events.

 

Major League Fishing introduced the GEICO Select series in 2014. Two events were filmed in 2014 and will air on Outdoor Channel beginning in January 2015. The first event, the Bass Pro Shops Summit Select, presented by BACAS, is now available on Extended Cast, which is Major League Fishing’s two-hours-plus, web-based offering.
