The father and son team of Jeff and Carroll Queen from Catawba, NC made it back-to-back victories in the Catawba Division with a win on W. Kerr Scott Reservoir Saturday. This tournament turned into one of the toughest of the year with the Queen''s weighing in four fish at 8.66 lbs. They picked up $1,825.00 for their effort and reported catching their fish on a fluke.
In second was Drew Montgomery and Rodney Adams of Concord, NC with four fish weighing 8.41 lbs. which earned the pair a check for $1,100.00. The caught their fish sightfishing.
Taking third was Troy Armstrong of Denver, NC and Ronnie Parks of Gastonia, NC with three fish weighing 6.63 lbs. They received a check for $580.00 and reported catching their fish on a lizards and tubes. Ronnie was also registered as our top Ranger Cup team which earned them an additional bonus of $250.00. The Ranger Cup program is sponsored by Denver Marine.
Fourth goes to Chad Everhardt of Millers Creek, NC and Brett Foster of North Wilksboro, NC with two fish weighing 5.89 lbs. Their bag was anchored by big fish of the event at 4.16 lbs. and earned them an additional $510.00 for a total of $910.00 for the day. They too were sightfishing and used a tube as well.
Fifth went to Hank Cherry of Charlotte, NC and Roger Pope of Statesville, NC with three fish weighing 5.38 lbs. They received a check for $320.00 and were sightfishing as well.
You have plenty of time to purchase that new Ranger before our championship and get in on the thousands in bonus money available to Ranger Cup participants at our National Championship in November. $2,000 will be going to the top Ranger Cup participant at the nationals with 4 additional places being paid as well.

The National Bass Circuit offers the best payout for any of the major regional circuits in existence and will be awarding at least two Ranger Boats powered by Mercury Outboards at the 2004 Nationals. RangerTrail Trailers is the "Official Trailer" of the National Bass Circuit as well.
